Marvel Multiverse Table Top Role-Playing Game - Summer 2023

A new Marvel TTRPG is heading our way for Summer 2023. I have some really fond memories of the Marvel Superheroes Roleplaying game put out by TSR in the 1980's. It was right along side Dungeons & Dragons as one of my introductory games to ttrpgs. This new game looks to be based purely on a six-sided dice system. The playtest rulebook for the game is available now for anyone who wants to run an early version of the game through its paces before the finalized version comes out next year. I'll admit I'm curious enough make that purchase myself. Here is the official press release from Marvel:  MARVEL LAUNCHING CORE RULEBOOK FOR NEW TABLETOP ROLE-PLAYING GAME IN SUMMER 2023   ‘MARVEL MULTIVERSE ROLE-PLAYING GAME: CORE RULEBOOK’ AVAILABLE JUNE 2023   FOLLOWED BY ‘MARVEL MULTIVERSE ROLE-PLAYING GAME: THE CATACLYSM OF KANG’ AVAILABLE JULY 2023     Use the D616 game system to embody your favorite Super Heroes and Super Villains!     New York, NY— August 22, 2022 –  New adventu

Official Teaser - Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker

I've have been waiting for this trailer with a lot of anticipation. More-so than anything from Marvel or the other movie franchises out there. Star Wars always takes precedence over all others for me. Knowing this was the last episode to finish out the Skywalker saga, made the first peek at this film all the more exciting to me. I'm so very glad it didn't disappoint. Unlike many I didn't have any real problems with the previous film. None of them have been perfect going to the first to be honest, but I liked The Last Jedi and I loved what I saw in this teaser for the final episode.

I got a true thrill seeing Billy Dee Williams back in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon as Lando Calrissian and it was awesome seeing that Rey looked to have moved forward in her Jedi training ready to take on what the New Order had to throw at the Resistance. However after the voice over of Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker saying how nobody is ever truly gone was followed by the familiar chilling laugh of the Emperor Palpatine, I got a serious shiver down my spine. Which was just awesome to me. I've always thought that a villain as incredible as Palpatine was taken down a little too easily in the films. So its satisfying for him to be back in someway pulling the strings. After wanting to see this teaser so badly, I almost now what to put myself on a blackout from any further trailers to avoid any spoilers and enjoy the movie without knowing much else than what has been revealed up to now.
