Marvel Multiverse Table Top Role-Playing Game - Summer 2023

A new Marvel TTRPG is heading our way for Summer 2023. I have some really fond memories of the Marvel Superheroes Roleplaying game put out by TSR in the 1980's. It was right along side Dungeons & Dragons as one of my introductory games to ttrpgs. This new game looks to be based purely on a six-sided dice system. The playtest rulebook for the game is available now for anyone who wants to run an early version of the game through its paces before the finalized version comes out next year. I'll admit I'm curious enough make that purchase myself. Here is the official press release from Marvel:  MARVEL LAUNCHING CORE RULEBOOK FOR NEW TABLETOP ROLE-PLAYING GAME IN SUMMER 2023   ‘MARVEL MULTIVERSE ROLE-PLAYING GAME: CORE RULEBOOK’ AVAILABLE JUNE 2023   FOLLOWED BY ‘MARVEL MULTIVERSE ROLE-PLAYING GAME: THE CATACLYSM OF KANG’ AVAILABLE JULY 2023     Use the D616 game system to embody your favorite Super Heroes and Super Villains!     New York, NY— August 22, 2022 –  New adventu

New York Comic Con 2011 - Oct 13th - 16th

Get ready East Coast! This side of the nation has a legit Mega sized comic convention. From the looks of this thing with all the television and film stars that will be present for this you'd think this was happening in San Diego. It is so incredible that the east coast has an increasingly established MAJOR Comic con. And on a personal level having it just up 95 in NYC is awesome for me.

For those of you not aware, NYCC is happening this week. Some of the stars that will be there include Chris Evans (Captain America, Avengers), Felicia Day, Kevin Smith, Rose McGowan, Mark Hamill. Cartoon Network, Adult Swim fans will definitely be want to be there see Chris Elliot, Doc Hammer, Seth Green, Michael Jae White, and Mike Judge. The comic book guests read like a who's who of legends and current stars of the industry.

For those of you out there moaning that you didn't get to San Diego. Don't worry about it. If you can get to New York for a day or two you'll get your taste of a BIG CON. Honestly I'm looking at this thing and thinking I'm going to dedicate a budget to spending the whole weekend to attend this next year.

I'm going to go through the program this next day or two to pull out the highlights in the schedule. I should've done this sooner. But better late than never.
