Marvel Multiverse Table Top Role-Playing Game - Summer 2023

A new Marvel TTRPG is heading our way for Summer 2023. I have some really fond memories of the Marvel Superheroes Roleplaying game put out by TSR in the 1980's. It was right along side Dungeons & Dragons as one of my introductory games to ttrpgs. This new game looks to be based purely on a six-sided dice system. The playtest rulebook for the game is available now for anyone who wants to run an early version of the game through its paces before the finalized version comes out next year. I'll admit I'm curious enough make that purchase myself. Here is the official press release from Marvel:  MARVEL LAUNCHING CORE RULEBOOK FOR NEW TABLETOP ROLE-PLAYING GAME IN SUMMER 2023   ‘MARVEL MULTIVERSE ROLE-PLAYING GAME: CORE RULEBOOK’ AVAILABLE JUNE 2023   FOLLOWED BY ‘MARVEL MULTIVERSE ROLE-PLAYING GAME: THE CATACLYSM OF KANG’ AVAILABLE JULY 2023     Use the D616 game system to embody your favorite Super Heroes and Super Villains!     New York, NY— August 22, 2022 –  New adventu

Baltimore Comic Con This Weekend

All bias to this convention being in my home region aside, I love the Baltimore Comic Con. It is truly an event that celebrates comic books, their creators and their fan base. This isn't a place where film studios show off trailers or video game companies have an arcade set up on the expo floor. This is a full blooded comic book show. Artists, exhibitors, fans of the comics, and I loves it. Chimp Rage and I went there a few years back to hang out for a day, and we were shocked that such an amazing show was practically in our backyard. It only looks like its gotten better over time, so I'm looking forward to covering the show this year for Neverending Digression.

When you have a show with Stan Lee, Jim Starlin, Adam Hughes, Jeff Smith, Herb Trimpe, Frank Cho, Walt Simonson, I'll stop because this entry will just become a list of amazingly talented people who are attending. There are some serious legends appearing at this show.  Artist alley looks like it is bursting with small press and independent artists so I'll spend a lot of time there too.  I'll probably only go one day... I hope its enough time to get in everything I want to do and see.

Get the official program here for the Baltimore Comic Con!

Getting to the Baltimore Convention Center is a piece of cake, so if you aren't familiar with the city or don't like driving around unfamiliar place its not a big deal. You get to the center right off of the highway.

The show starts at 10AM both Saturday and Sunday

SEE YOU IN BALTIMORE!!
