Here are some highlights that I would include on my schedule if was there. If you agree with my highlights or not, its not a big deal. BUT if you are attending SDCC this year, please look over these schedules and make a plan of attack. Include plenty of padding between program events, sometimes the lines for these thing form an hour before its set to start. I'm going to go through the rest of the program this week and pick out more highlights.
Highlights
It'd be a tough choice in the morning, but being able to talk to Sid and Marty Kroft would just about make my day. As the creators of Sigmund the Sea Monster, H.R. Pufinstuf, The Buggaloos, and Land of the Lost, they were responsible for a lot of shows I watched and LOVED as a kid. To meet them face to face would be amazing:
10:00-11:00 Conversations with Sid and Marty Krofft: A Look at the Past, Present and Future— Sid and Marty Krofft changed Saturday mornings forever when the sibling puppeteers unleashed colorful characters like H.R. Pufnstuf and Sigmund & the Sea Monsters on a generation of sugary-cereal-fueled kids growing up in the 1970s and '80s. Join Sid and Marty for a look back at what they have achieved, then take a look to the future with their new partnerships with Vivendi Entertainment and DreamWorks Animation. Room 23ABC
