Marvel Multiverse Table Top Role-Playing Game - Summer 2023

  A new Marvel TTRPG is heading our way for Summer 2023. I have some really fond memories of the Marvel Superheroes Roleplaying game put out by TSR in the 1980's. It was right along side Dungeons & Dragons as one of my introductory games to ttrpgs. This new game looks to be based purely on a six-sided dice system. The playtest rulebook for the game is available now for anyone who wants to run an early version of the game through its paces before the finalized version comes out next year. I'll admit I'm curious enough make that purchase myself. Announced Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 Coming November 2011

During the first day of San Diego Comic Con. Capcom and Marvel announced the upcoming Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3. This updated game will retail for $39.99 for Xbox 360 and PS3. The game will add 12 new fighters, along with eight new stages. There will be a host of tweaks to the gameplay and additional features like a Spectator mode to watch online combatant fight.

Now the big thing everyone wants to know, what characters are going to be included. In addition to all the current characters. Strider and Firebrand for Capcom and Hawkeye & Ghost Rider have been officially announced. However due to some snooping fans and a web designer who wanted to work ahead, there were some additional character images found in the directories of the Capcom website for the game. If these images are to be believed then the in addition to the four mentioned we'll have these characters:

Marvel:
Dr. Strange
Nova
Iron Fist
ROCKET RACCOON

Capcom:
Vergil
Phoenix Wright
Nemesis
Frank West




Personally having Ghost Rider and Rocket Raccoon as playable fighters is enough for me. I'm a long time player of MvC 2 and I love MvC 3. The $39.99 price tag isn't a bad one, I can easily see some Christmas gift cards being used to buy this game. Or just picking it up as a rare treat for myself.
