Marvel Multiverse Table Top Role-Playing Game - Summer 2023

A new Marvel TTRPG is heading our way for Summer 2023. I have some really fond memories of the Marvel Superheroes Roleplaying game put out by TSR in the 1980's. It was right along side Dungeons & Dragons as one of my introductory games to ttrpgs. This new game looks to be based purely on a six-sided dice system. The playtest rulebook for the game is available now for anyone who wants to run an early version of the game through its paces before the finalized version comes out next year. I'll admit I'm curious enough make that purchase myself. Here is the official press release from Marvel:  MARVEL LAUNCHING CORE RULEBOOK FOR NEW TABLETOP ROLE-PLAYING GAME IN SUMMER 2023   ‘MARVEL MULTIVERSE ROLE-PLAYING GAME: CORE RULEBOOK’ AVAILABLE JUNE 2023   FOLLOWED BY ‘MARVEL MULTIVERSE ROLE-PLAYING GAME: THE CATACLYSM OF KANG’ AVAILABLE JULY 2023     Use the D616 game system to embody your favorite Super Heroes and Super Villains!     New York, NY— August 22, 2022 –  New adventu

Dr. Oracle - Marcus Pierson, Head Writer: A native of Washington, DC who still works in the city and lives in the Maryland suburbs. By day working as a web site developer, he also does graphic design and illustration projects on the side - just not many or as often as he'd like. When not working or drawing, he enjoys spending time with his wife, three kids and Bixby the Wonderdog. As a long time comic book reader and illustrator, Marcus enjoys the comic book industry and pop culture in general. This blog is his main method of staying in-touch with this world filled with so many imaginative and creative individuals.

The House of Bella and Baron - Gary Raymond Fry, Jr., Contributor: A native of Prince George’s County, Maryland, Gary has worked professionally in the Entertainment Technology and Performing Arts Industry for over two decades, primarily in the operations, administration, design, and academic fields. The House of Bella and Baron is the creative dais in which Gary Raymond Fry, Jr. manifests his various artistic endeavors working across multiple mediums and on many platforms. The most recent manifestations of the House of Bella and Baron has seen Gary work as a staff contributor to The Neverending Digression, a blog on geek and popular culture. And, his own line of uniquely crafted tote bags, hand bags, sacks, and pointe show bags for dancers.

While Gary has made his career in Entertainment Technology and the Performing Arts, he also holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Interdisciplinary studies where me merges his love of Business Management, Theatre, and English. Gary holds a Masters Degree in Communication Arts where he was able to merge his love of Theatre, Marketing, Journalism, and Public Relations into a degree that would complement his many interests.

When Gary is not involved in higher education, mounting a live performance, or exploring new ways to express himself through the House of Bella and Baron, he spends time with his hobbies as a tabletop gamer, video gamer, science-fiction and fantasy fan, gardener, and music enthusiast. He makes his home in the urban sprawl between Washington D.C. and Baltimore in the City of Laurel, Maryland, with his two dogs, Bella and Baron.
