Marvel Multiverse Table Top Role-Playing Game - Summer 2023

  A new Marvel TTRPG is heading our way for Summer 2023. I have some really fond memories of the Marvel Superheroes Roleplaying game put out by TSR in the 1980's. It was right along side Dungeons & Dragons as one of my introductory games to ttrpgs. This new game looks to be based purely on a six-sided dice system. The playtest rulebook for the game is available now for anyone who wants to run an early version of the game through its paces before the finalized version comes out next year. I'll admit I'm curious enough make that purchase myself. First Look: Red Skull #1 - Marvel Secret War Limited Series

Secret Wars is producing many mini series of what I'm finding to be surprisingly good quality. I'm usually dismissive of these peripheral series during these big events, however all that I've read have ranged from enjoyable to incredible. I was this preview of the Red Skull that I'm sharing with you now and I'm immediately intrigued. Dr. Doom who is ruling over the Battleworld setting of the Secret Wars has banished and thought to have killed the Red Skull. However, staying true to form as the cockroach of super villains, the Red Skull is rumored to still be alive. A group of villians and anti-heroes has been gathered to investigate. Most interesting among their numbers are Magneto and the Winter Soldier who both have their personal vendettas against their target. See the official synopsis and some preview pages below.
